Rico - German Shepherd Dog Dog Available for Adoption in Frankfort, Indiana

Meet Fredrico James III, aka Rico! Rico is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix who was surrendered to the shelter when his family's work required out of state travel. Rico sounds like he is a wonderful boy. He does well at the vet and lets you know when he needs to go outside if you watch for his signs (pacing). He is crate trained but does bark when he is left alone for long periods. Rico is said not to enjoy baths, and he does destroy plush toys, but he loves hard toys and bones. He likes men, women, and children, but with his size he can knock small children over. His family said he would "follow" cats, and he got along with "most" dogs when introduced slowly.
