Stella - German Shepherd Dog and Boxer Dog for Adoption in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

Gorgeous girl Stella and her sweet sister Ella were relinquished due to their owner having to move where dogs aren't allowed.
These beautiful, well mannered 2-year-old shepherd/boxer mix gals have won over the shelter volunteers with their lovely disposition and funny antics.
Stella seems to be the more energetic of the two -- she's up for fetching over and over and sifting through every toy bin to make multiple selections, while Ella opts for a bit slower walk and flops out flat on the cool floor. They both love water, but Ella is definitely water crazy and so fun to watch. They are so good together, with no quarreling, only smiles and playfulness as one takes a favorite toy (which is whatever the other one has, ha!) from the other.
The adoption fee to adopt a dog is $155, which helps cover some of the care received, including spay/neuter, microchipping and vaccinations to date.
