Chance - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Fort Collins, Colorado

Chance is the sweetest, easy going German Shepherd, with just 3 legs! We saved chance from a high-kill shelter with a bullet wound in his back leg. Due to the severity of the injury, he needed a hind-leg amputation. Luckily, Chance felt better immediately after the surgery and started getting around better than before! He can do stairs (up and down) and loves to play with other dogs. Overall, Chance would do best in a lower-activity house hold (no hiking, please!) where he can have lots of attention and snuggles. He is good with kids and cats, and is house trained and kennel trained.

Chance is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He has also had a gastro-pexy performed so his new owner won't need to worry about bloat. His adoption fee is $650 to help cover all of the medical costs.
