If youre looking for an active, intelligent, and incredibly loyal companion, Fable is your girl! At just 9 months old and approximately 45 pounds, this beautiful pup is still growing into the amazing dog shes destined to be.

Fable is heartworm negative and full of the playful energy youd expect from a young shepherd mix. She loves to stay busy and thrives when she has plenty of exercise, enrichment, and time with her people. Whether its hiking, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or going on adventures, Fable is always ready to join in.

She gets along well with other dogs and has lived successfully with a cat. At first, she was eager to convince the cat to play, but shes learned to respect boundaries and will leave the cat alone when told no, making her a great candidate for a home with a dog-savvy feline.

Like many puppies, Fable is still learning the ropes. She enjoys chewing if she doesnt have appropriate toys or enough mental stimulation, so she is crated when left alone to keep her safe and out of trouble. Shes crate trained and settles in well while her family is away.

Fable would benefit from continued obedience training to help channel her intelligence and enthusiasm. She is eager to learn and will thrive with a family committed to helping her reach her full potential.

They are a part of our foster to adopt program. The rescue will cover them getting vetted by our veterinarians during the foster period, if additional vetting is needed. If it is a love connection the foster gets first dibs to adopt. Please fill out an application or email us at char@adoptgoodkarma.com if you are interested in fostering them. Typically the adoption fee is $350 but if you foster and decide to adopt we show our gratitude by providing a $50 discount plus their vetting.
