Axel is a stunning German Shepherd that arrived at FAPL from a loving home. He is noted as being good with other dogs and older children from his previous home. Shepherds are intelligent, active dogs who thrive with daily mental and physical activities. Axel so deserves to find a wonderful home once again!
No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption.
If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
