Sellma is a 7-month-old Shepherd mix who was part of a litter we welcomed just before Christmas.
Life has not always been kind to this sweet girl, and because of her difficult start, Sellma struggles with confidence and has significant stranger danger. New people and unfamiliar situations can be overwhelming for her, so she needs an experienced, patient home that understands fearful dogs and is committed to helping her build trust at her own pace.
The good news? Shes still just a puppy.
With time, patience, and consistency, Sellma has every opportunity to continue growing into the wonderful dog we know she can be. Once you earn her trust, shes incredibly affectionate, loves to play, and enjoys cuddling with her favourite people.
That said, her sudden return to shelter life has been very difficult, and we would love to see her back in a home environment as soon as possible.
Because of this, we are urgently seeking a foster-to-adopt family who can provide the patience, understanding, and love this deserving girl needs to thrive.
If you think you could be the fresh start Sellma has been waiting for, wed love to hear from you.
