Sophie - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Duxbury, Massachusetts

Meet Sophie! Formerly known as Negra, this beautiful girl deserves her second chance!

Sophie was originally rescued from the Apple Valley euthanasia list in California. When she first left the shelter, she was incredibly shut down and unsure of the world around her. Since arriving in foster care in Washington State, she has made incredible progress and has come such a long way!

Sophie is approximately 5 years old, up to date on vaccines, and will be spayed soon.

A little about Sophie:

* Dog friendly with confident dogs.
* Does well with small dogs.
* Has some prey drive, so a home without cats is likely best.
* Continuing to blossom in her foster home as she gains confidence.

Sophie has already overcome so much. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the forever home she deserves.

The best part? Sophie can be transported anywhere! Her perfect family doesn’t have to be in Washington. We can help get her where she belongs.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your family, please consider Sophie. She has so much love and potential to give.
