Jane - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Colorado Springs, Colorado

This is foster Jane! She's been in Colorado for a little over a week now, and she's loving her new life here.

Jane is a two-year-old Shepherd mix, about 75 pounds, with medium energy and a smart, happy personality. She learns quickly and is eager to please — especially when treats are involved! Training comes easily to her, and she's proud of how fast she picks things up.

She's a sweet girl who likes to follow her people around, and she gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in her foster home. She's also friendly with the cats (even though she secretly wishes they'd play with her). Jane isn't thundershy, and she's great on walks — she zigzags a little because she's curious, but she doesn't pull on the leash.

Jane is also a water dog at heart. She loves splashing and playing with water, and she dreams of having a pool of her own someday. Inside the house, she's working hard on her manners and has already made great progress. She sleeps in a crate at night and settles in nicely.

Jane is looking for a home with a yard and an active family who will include her in their adventures. She's ready to be someone's loyal, joyful companion.
