Sambar is an approximately 2-3-year-old German Shepherd mix with a playful, loyal nature and a heart full of love for his people. While his brother Moose is all about chasing tennis balls, Sambar is happiest simply being by your side. Whether you're relaxing at home, working in the yard, or taking a walk, Sambar enjoys following his people around and being part of the action.

Sambar is house trained and would thrive in a home that can provide him with regular exercise, companionship, and continued training.

Sambar must be the only pet in the home. He is not a good fit for a household with other dogs, cats, or other small animals. Because of his size and strength, we also recommend a home without small children. He would do best with an adopter who understands large-breed dogs and can provide appropriate guidance, structure, and supervision.
