***COURTESY POST***
Meet Texas Raine
Found on the side of a Texas highway during a storm, Texas Raine has a name that will always tell part of her story. Now this 8-month-old Husky/German Shepherd mix is ready for her next chapter: a family to call her own.
TR knows no stranger! She’s social with dogs, cats, and kids and has plenty of friendship to offer. She’s housebroken, knows basic commands, stays off the furniture, and is a quick learner. She’s still working on leash manners and everyday house manners, so her new family should be ready to continue her training with patience and consistency.
She does experience some separation anxiety. We believe she would do best in a home with another compatible dog, along with a family willing to help her gradually feel comfortable spending time apart. A canine friend may offer comfort, but she’ll also need support as she settles in and builds confidence.
A crate will be provided upon adoption.
Her rescuer loves her deeply and would love to stay in contact with her new family if possible. This sweet girl is looking for a home where she can be loved, supported, and given the chance to keep learning

Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption
Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.
