Well who is this beautiful girl?!

Everyone meet Kiena! This gorgeous 37lb, approximate 1yr old shepherd mix had a rough start. A shelter can be a scary place and she was not sure what else existed in life. She is sweet, shows zero aggression, and just trying to understand life.

Kiena is in a foster home who is seasoned in providing dogs patience and showing them how great life can be. Kiena takes comfort in having another dog around and the resident dogs are doing great showing her the routine. She already found and mastered the dog door and completely ignores the resident cats. She desperately wants to be friends with everyone, wagging her tail and licking their face, though her sad past makes her pause vs going all in.

She will continue to understand the good life, and her foster home is already starting to see small spurts of the vibrant personality we know she has.
