If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky, fun-loving guy who thinks life is one big adventure, I might just be your boy!

I’m the sweetest guy with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for life. My absolute favorite thing in the world is OTHER DOGS! I could play for HOURS and would happily spend my entire day wrestling, chasing, and making new four-legged friends. I can sometimes be a little TOO enthusiastic with my play style, though, and my excitement can be overwhelming for more reserved pups. I’d love a playful, tolerant doggy best friend who can keep up with all my antics!

Don’t let my energy fool you. I don’t need endless exercise to be happy. A good hike, a game of fetch, or some time playing with my dog friends, and I’m ready to crash for the rest of the day. Although, if there’s a ball involved, good luck getting me to quit! I will happily play fetch for an hour straight!

A few of my favorite things:

Swimming! I LOVE the water. Puddle? Pond? Lake? I’M IN! Just be prepared for a very wet dog and invest in some car seat covers.

Bully sticks! I’m absolutely obsessed, even though I’m possibly the pickiest eater on the planet.

Peanut butter! Especially when it’s frozen inside a Kong.

Plush toys! I love my stuffies, although you’ll probably need to do a little fluff cleanup from time to time.

TV time! Yep, I enjoy watching television and can be pretty entertaining about it.

Adventure! Boats, fireworks, and new experiences don’t seem to faze me. I’m a pretty confident guy!

I’m also a total social butterfly with people. I LOVE visitors and get so excited when someone comes over that I’ll immediately grab the nearest toy to bring them a present. I’m very good about dropping my toys and responding to “leave it.” I do best with someone who provides clear guidance, consistency, and structure.

A few things you should know about me:

* I have a sensitive stomach and am extremely particular about my food and treats. Freeze-dried salmon (Trader Joe’s is a favorite!) and dried beef liver have been winners.
* I have some separation anxiety, so my future family should be prepared to help me learn that being alone isn’t so scary.
* I don’t always understand just how BIG I am. I think I’m a tiny lap dog and will happily walk right across you or launch myself onto the couch for some love.
* I’ve lived with a cat and loved her, but my enthusiasm and desire to play were simply too much for her. I’d do best in a cat-free home.
* No small children for me! My size and exuberant play style make an adult home or one with older, dog-savvy children a much better fit.

So, what do I need to be happy?

A loving family, a doggy best friend, a good supply of bully sticks, opportunities to swim and play, and someone who will give me the guidance I need to be my very best self.

I’m a genuinely happy, affectionate, silly boy with SO much love to give. I just need a family who will embrace my big personality, laugh at my goofy antics, and give me all the love I could ever want.
