Meet Maverick 🐾 His DOB is 03.18.25 and his adoption fee is $450.00 plus MN state sales tax. He has a microchip, is neutered and UTD on vaccinations.

Maverick is a smaller shepherd mix, just over a year old, with quick feet and a gentle soul. Once his personality starts to shine, it’s clear—he’s still very much a puppy, both in learning and in play, but always sweet and kind hearted.

He can be a little scared and nervous when you first meet him, but once you earn his trust, Maverick turns into your little shadow. He thinks he’s a lap dog, follows you everywhere, and loves to curl up beside your feet.

Maverick would thrive in a quieter home where someone is home most of the day. He would do best without young children—fast movements make him anxious—but a home with teenagers would be just fine.

He truly blossoms with the right canine companion. Maverick needs another playful, non dominant dog—a best friend type- who just wants to play, play, play and help build his confidence.

Because he’s still a puppy, Maverick needs to be kenneled when unsupervised—he has a fondness for socks and harmless mischief.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We would like this dog to be adopted into a secure 5'-6' fenced yard.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
