ABOUT ME:
I am a gorgeous, loyal, and incredibly smart GSD who takes my job as your best friend very seriously. True to my breed, I am highly trainable, fiercely loyal, eager to please, and deeply devoted to my family. If you love outdoor adventures, playing fetch, and having a dedicated furry bodyguard, I'm your boy! You wouldn't even know that I am a senior hound! I am food and treat motivated which makes learning new commands and tasks even more fun for me.

I am physically strong and will require an equally strong handler to help keep me on track and focused. I am very curious and do tend to explore things with my mouth to help me figure out what they are.

MY IDEAL HOME:
I would love to have a handler who understands GSD behavior and boundaries. I love knowing what is expected of me and would enjoy having a job to do. I prefer a very active lifestyle and would welcome my own fenced backyard to run and play in. I enjoy a couple of daily play times and running around in the yard to get some of my energy out. I'm a huge fan of ental stimulation also (puzzle toys, games, play times, training) smart AND handsome what a combo! OTHER PETS IN THE HOME:
Prior to adoption, we recommend a meeting of all pets in the home to ensure a smooth transition into a new environment.

ADOPTION FEE AND OTHER INFO:
Klondike's adoption fee is $153 unless you are a Senior Citizen also. Then, there is no adoption fee and we will offer a 20% Seniors for Seniors Discount for the remainder of Klondike's life.

VET SERVICES/HEARTWORM, FLEA-TICK PREVENTION:

Klondike has had an injection for the prevention of heartworms (Proheart12) as well as an injection for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Both are good until August 19, 2027. So, Klondike will not need to take a monthly heartworm, flea-tick oral medication!

No appointment is needed to meet any of our adoptable strays. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
