Ferris is a thoughtful soul who likes to take a quiet moment to survey his surroundings before diving into the fun. While he may start off a little reserved, that initial shyness quickly melts away once he feels secure. Once he's comfortable, his true personality takes center stage, revealing a happy, playful, and gentle companion who genuinely loves being part of the family action.

In the home, Ferris is proving to be a stellar student. He is doing fantastic with his house training on a consistent routine and, while he's still mastering the art of "asking" to go out, he thrives with a little structure and guidance. When it's time to turn in for the night, he settles well into his crate; he might offer a few minutes of protest at first, but he quickly relaxes and sleeps soundly until morning.

Ferris is a social butterfly in the making who truly enjoys the company of others. He absolutely loves running and playing with his canine foster siblings and is wonderful with children. He has also shown a curious and playful interest in cats; he takes redirection well and shows no aggression, suggesting he will continue to adjust beautifully with a patient hand and a bit of consistency.

There is a lovely balance to Ferris's energy. He is a fun-loving, active boy who treasures his time exploring and sprinting around the yard, yet he has a deeply sweet and soft side. After the playing is done, he is just as happy to curl up and rest quietly right by your side.
