Frost is a female German Shepard Chow mix. Her coat is a beautiful yellow color and soft. Her age is estimated at 8 years of age. She is healthy, young at heart and always happy to be around. She enjoys being active. This includes greeting people, taking walks and socializing by hanging out with her trainer friends.
Frost came from a local hoarding situation in late December, 2025, entering our dog rescue program almost immediately. She did so very smoothly with no apparent side effects of fear or anxiety. Credit to her for this. In the ensuing 4 months she displayed her even temperament and living skills with dogs and people around her, and little need for training. Rather, she served to help calm fears and anxiety of other hoarding dog siblings around her through her calm, joyful demeanor. Her calming signals with dogs are excellent.
She knows basic commands and is house trained. She is very good with all people and dogs. Cats are unknown. We also don’t have children in a prison but feel she would get along with them providing they treated her with respect and avoided rough housing or pushing her beyond her mature adult physical limits. Her goals in life seem clear. She simply wishes to live with loving people around her, in a home setting. She is playful and will seek you out to join her. She will enjoy a fenced yard to wander around in. Or a leash walk in the neighborhood. But she will mostly return to her dog bed by you, indoors, for most of her time.
She is spayed and current on shots.
If you looking for a well-adjusted, happy, easy-going dog who simply wants to be your live in family member and enrich your life with her smile and companionship, please give Frost consideration.
