Meet Bubba!

If you're looking for a best friend who's equal parts cuddly, easygoing, and entertaining, Bubba just might be your perfect match.

Bubba is a 3- to 4-year-old French Bulldog/Pug mix weighing about 20 pounds. He came to Dogworks Ohio after being rescued from a breeder hoarding and neglect situation. Despite his difficult past, Bubba hasn't let it change his sweet outlook on life. He seems genuinely grateful for every bit of love and kindness he receives, and now he's ready to find the forever family he deserves.

Bubba would fit into just about any home. He's laid-back, affectionate, and loves being wherever his people are. Whether you are relaxing on the couch or heading out for a walk, Bubba is happiest by your side. He enjoys leisurely walks, following you from room to room, and curling up for snuggles whenever he gets the chance.

One of Bubbas most adorable qualities is that he's quite the conversationalist! When the other dogs start barking, Bubba joins in with his own signature howl to let everyone know exactly what he thinks. Its impossible not to smile when he talks. He also loves working treats out of his Kong toy and enjoys playing with other dogs.

Bubba is friendly when meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs. Cats and young children are unknown, but his gentle, easygoing personality suggests he may do well with proper introductions. He is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, knows a few basic commands like stay and off, responds well to verbal correction, and is almost completely potty trained with only rare accidents.

Because Bubba can jump surprisingly well for a little guy, a securely fenced yard is recommended.

Bubba is scheduled to be neutered on August 10, and after everything he's been through, he's ready to leave his past behind and spend the rest of his life knowing nothing but love, comfort, and belly rubs.
