*Special Needs*
Ida is the snuggliest little potato. She is blind, but otherwise a healthy girl. The vet believes she may have had eye ulcers that were left untreated leading to her blindness. Ida has been able to move around foster mom’s backyard remarkably well. She has adapted to her blindness by moving cautiously and at times in a crawling stance. When on a leash, Ida is able to walk in more of a “normal walk” as she uses the leash tension to help guide her. Ida also listens to her surroundings for guidance and direction. We would love to find a home where Ida would have a furry friend that will take her under their wing and/or an adopter who is home most of the time to attend to her and spoil her.
