Baxter is a sweet, gentle soul around 10 years old who's ready to enjoy the simple pleasures of life with a loving family. He has a calm, easygoing nature and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a more laid-back buddy.

Don't let his age fool you-- Baxter still enjoys a good game of chase and has just the right amount of playful energy to keep things fun without being overwhelming. He's friendly, well-mannered, and seems to truly enjoy being around people.

Baxter previously lived with another dog and may do well with a canine companion. He hasn't been exposed to cats or children, so slow, thoughtful introductions would be important in those situations.

If you're looking for a loyal, relaxed companion with a playful spark, Baxter could be the perfect addition to your home!

**Baxter is neutered and heartworm negative. He has been given a canine distemper and bordetella vaccination and will be vaccinated against Rabies prior to going to his new home.**

Baxter will have an adoption fee of $80 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of his neuter, vaccinations in shelter, and heartworm test. It does NOT cover the cost of his Rabies vaccination, this is an additional fee paid by the adopter, directly to the vet clinic at time of pick up.

The Liberty Animal Shelter is open Monday and Tuesday 10a to 5p, Wednesday through Friday 10a to 6p, and 10a to 3p on the weekends.
