Hi, I'm Skylar, and I have an important announcement:

I am officially accepting applications for my Forever People.

I'm one year old, which means I am basically a puppy with a little more life experience and ENERGY FOR DAYS. If there is a toy to chase, a dog to play with, a person to follow, or a room to zoom through... I'm available for the job.

I LOVE my toys, but let's be honest... my people are my favorite thing in the entire universe. I greet everyone with wiggles, kisses and the sweetest little snuggles. If you sit down, congratulations! You have apparently just signed up for a Skylar cuddle appointment. There is no cancellation policy.

I also LOVE other dogs and have been the absolute sweetest playmate to my foster brother, 14-week-old Jerry. I play nicely, keep him entertained and generally make sure he never has a boring day. Basically, I'm part-time big sister and part-time chaos coordinator.

I came into rescue because I had a prolapse that needed surgical correction. That has been repaired and should not cause me any further issues, and now I'm feeling fantastic and ready to focus on the important things in life: toys, snacks, people, playtime and finding my forever family.

Now, because I am still young, I have a couple of areas where I'm working on my grown-up skills.

Leash walking? Let's just say I have somewhere to BE. If you're going, I'm going too! I will happily follow you, but sometimes my excitement causes me to accidentally attempt to tow you there.

And potty training? My prolapse made that a little tricky while I was healing, but now that I'm healthy, I am officially a potty-training PRO. I'm smart, I'm learning quickly, and I expect I'll settle into a new routine pretty quickly once I'm home with my forever people.

At my core, I'm just a sweet, silly, affectionate girl who wants to be part of everything. I want a family who will play with me, snuggle me, teach me, laugh at my ridiculous puppy antics and make me their everything... because I fully intend to make YOU mine.

-All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention.
-Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area.
-We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
