Mike Wazowski - French Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Carrollton, Texas

Meet Mike Wazowski, AKA Mikey! He is a French bulldog who is just under 4 months old. He has the cutest puppy personality, he is brave, playful, funny, cuddly, smart, stubborn like typical bully, loves everyone and is super friendly!

Good stuff: he is very comfortable with other pets (dogs and cats), can listen to cues from other animals if they are warning him (mostly), enjoys other animals as much as people, likes rough play like tug of war, loves toys but not destructive to them (yet), hesitates to leap off things, so he's smart enough to know that's a bad idea, does really well in his play yard area/kennel and settles in without issue

The warnings: he can't handle the heat and he is not potty trained yet. With this major heat, it’s not always safe for him to go outside because of his breed, so potty training hasn’t been consistent but, because he is super great motivated he has learned to use potty pads. Now that we are finally starting to cool off more, he is getting better about going outside more! He has a lot of trouble breathing in any heat, after playing, and SNORES. His adopter needs to be ready for that to be a future concern, just like all the short-nosed breeds tend to have.

Mikey has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He also had a birth defect causing one eye not to develop properly. During his neuter appointment that eye was surgically removed. He has recovered beautifully from this and is loving life more than ever now!
