EVIE - French Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Canfield, Ohio

Evie is a three year old female French Bulldog who lost her owner when she went into a nursing home and could no longer care for her. She is a gorgeous dark black brindle girl and weighs about 18 pounds. Evie is house trained, crate trained, has lived with other dogs, has had zero exposure to cats (we think she would likely tolerate them though), and is very used to living the good life in a home. She is rather put out and offended by the whole shelter life. She is a very typical Frenchie - active, jolly, ready to go go go. She also has a really nice off switch, and will have no problem calming down and hanging out when you're ready. She definitely isn't a couch potato all day - this one wants to be a part of all the things. Evie will need a home that is familiar with French Bulldogs. They can have some specific needs and issues that an experienced home would have no problem with. She will also need a bit of training and some rules and boundaries. She may or may not have been slightly spoiled in her former life, and while we are all for her being spoiled in her second life, there really do need to be some parameters whether she likes it or not. She can be a little demanding, a little harassing, maybe a bit over the top occasionally? All pretty typical of the breed. It's up to YOU to harness that fancy behavior in and perhaps interrupt her diva musings once in a while...yes, she is a diva. Evie will be ready for adoption very soon.
