Meet Harley!
Harley is a sweet senior gentleman with a heart full of love and just enough goofy energy to keep life fun. While his sister Hazel is a little more laid back, Harley is the more rambunctious half of this adorable duo. He still gets excited for walks, loves exploring the yard, and is always ready to be part of whatever you're doing!
Harley and Hazel have spent their entire lives together with the same loving family. They weren't neglected or mistreatedthey were deeply cherished. Unfortunately, life took an unexpected turn for their family, and making the heartbreaking decision to surrender them was an act of love, not a lack of it. Now they're looking for a new family to love them just as much.
Because they've been side by side through every stage of life, Harley and Hazel are bonded and must be adopted together. They find comfort in each other, and we can't imagine separating them after all these years.
If you're looking for two loyal companions who already know how to love unconditionally, Harley and Hazel are ready to fill your home with twice the love, twice the smiles, and twice the snuggles!
French Bulldogs are not low-maintenance dogs
They require patience with training, and daily mental and physical engagement, especially when they're young.
They are playful, opinionated, and full of energy, not couch ornaments.
Frenchies thrive in homes that understand the breed and are ready for the commitment.
Additionally, although SUPER cute and so yummy & silly, most of our dogs have come from yucky backyard greeders and so, will 100% need to have owners committed to their unique long-term care, health, and wellbeing.
Here are just a couple of things that we need to ensure every French Bulldog adopter understands and is comfortable with.
- All Frenchies MUST HAVE A FULL-SERVICE vet and at MINIMUM an ANNUAL vet appointment. Big-box store vets or mobile/discount shot services are just not going to cut it.
- Here's the BIG ONE: thanks to their breeding, ALL Frenchie parents have to be ready to manage and IMMEDIATELY treat an episode of IVDD:IVDD 411
- All Frenchie parents must be willing to make the time for daily maintenance and grooming: our Frenchies love their spa time and need (at minimum) all of those folds and crevices cleaned that make them so dang cute. It's a sign of your commitment and care.
- Bulldog adopters have to be willing to administer eye drops; all those folds make for grumpy eyelids.
- Last but not least, all lucky bulldog parents should expect to manage the ongoing cost of all the goodies associated with loving a bulldog: including but not limited to: high-quality food, eye drops, medicated shampoo, monthly heartworm prevention, fun toys, vet care, and endless scritches and cuddles (This last one is free)
PHEW - that's a list, but these guys are so worth it. Your commitment will be rewarded with the love and joy these Frenchies bring into your life.
Once you go Bulldog, there's no going back to 'regular' dogs
