Marcy's story began with heartbreak. When her family moved out of their apartment, they left her behind. Alone, scared, hungry, and confused, she waited for days before the landlord finally found her. She was taken to a high-intake shelter, where the stress and fear caused her to develop an upper respiratory infection. Tragically, she was placed on the euthanasia list.

Thankfully, our rescue stepped in just in time.

Marcy received the medical care, love, and safety she desperately needed. Today, she is fully recovered, spayed, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. Now all she needs is a family who will never let her down again.

Because of everything she's been through, Marcy is understandably cautious around new people. She won't be the dog who runs up to greet strangers on day one. She needs time, patience, and kindness to learn that she's finally safe and that no one is going to hurt or abandon her again.
