Meet Coa, a gorgeous black flat-coated mix with a heart as beautiful as she is! At around 1.5 years old and 50 pounds, she is the perfect combination of playful, gentle, and affectionate. Her soft black coat is stunning (and not a heavy shedder!), but it’s her beautiful, soulful brown eyes that truly make her unforgettable.

She can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but it doesn’t take long for her sweet personality to shine through. Once she feels comfortable, she is loving, loyal, and ready to be your best friend.

She is currently living in a foster home with several other dogs and does wonderfully with all of them. She has also lived with children in her past life and knows how to be part of a family.

Her absolute favorite things in the world are swimming and chasing a ball. Whether she’s splashing in the water or proudly bringing back her latest retrieve, she is happiest when she gets to enjoy the activities she loves. Her ideal forever home would be one where she has regular opportunities to swim and a family who enjoys watching her have the time of her life.

She is healthy, house trained, and has great manners in the home. She isn’t a big fan of spending time in a crate and much prefers being close to her people and part of the family.

This beautiful girl is sweet, affectionate, fun, and ready to share all of her love. She’s looking for someone who will give her the adventures, companionship, and forever home she deserves.
