Grumbles - Feist and Mountain Cur Dog for Adoption in Sparta, North Carolina

Grumbles is a bit of a sour patch kid.

One moment she’s leaning in for pets and getting close, and the next she’s backing away and letting you know she’s not interested in human contact. She’s definitely a girl who likes things on her own terms.

Grumbles came in as a stray, and unfortunately, no owner has come forward to claim her. We have a feeling she may have been a bit of a loner for a while.

She would do best in a home without children where she isn’t expected to be a cuddler. Instead, she needs someone who will give her the time and space to adjust and allow her to come to you when she’s ready.

She may also be more accustomed to outdoor living and could need some patience as she learns what indoor life is all about.

Grumbles may not be the easiest girl to figure out, but she deserves someone willing to give her a chance.
