Luna - English Springer Spaniel Dog for Adoption in North Vancouver, British Columbia

Luna is a beautiful, healthy 10-year-old Springer Spaniel looking for a loving, active retirement home where she can be the centre of someone's world.

She is smart, well-trained, affectionate, and full of personality. Whether it's chasing a tennis ball, splashing through puddles, or spending time with her people, Luna embraces life with enthusiasm.

Making the decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult for the family.
Over the past year, Luna has become increasingly uncomfortable living with other dogs and has had several serious incidents with them. Her family has done everything possible to help her, including extensive veterinary testing to rule out medical causes, consultations with a veterinary behaviour specialist, ongoing work with a behaviour trainer, and behaviour-modifying medication. Despite these efforts, she continues to struggle sharing a home with other dogs, making it clear that she will be happiest and safest as the only pet.

Due to changes in her family's circumstances, they are no longer able to safely manage the protocols needed in a multi-dog home. This decision comes from love and a commitment to giving Luna the best quality of life possible.

Luna is wonderful with people and does well with children, but she needs a home without other dogs or cats. She has so much love to give and deserves to spend her golden years in a home where she can relax, thrive, and receive all the attention she deserves.
