DESCRIPTION
Dilly Dally, nicknamed Abby in her foster home, is a two year old, 33 lb female Beagle-Bulldog mix looking for her forever home! This sweet girl would be good with other calm dogs, or as an only dog, and with children age 6+. She's a bit shy and hasn't learned to walk on leash yet, so she'll need a secure physically fenced yard. We haven't seen her with cats, but she would likely be fine.
Abby is a lower energy girl looking for a place to snuggle up - and keep working on her dog skills like leash training. She does need a potty break midday if you work full days away from home.
Abby is spayed and vaccinated, and her adoption fee is $350. You can find more information on the adoption process and a link to the application form on our website at https://www.wisconsinbostonterrierrescue.com/adopt. Please email wbtradoption@gmail.com with any questions.
ABOUT: BEAGLE DOG BREED
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
