Meet Rosie!

Rosie is an 8-year-old English Bulldog who has come a long way since arriving in our care.

As she's settled into her foster home, her personality has really started to shine. She's learned the routine and will patiently wait by the door when she needs to go outside, sometimes with a few classic bulldog snorts and grumbles just to make sure you notice.

Rosie is a sweet girl who loves attention and affection. She enjoys being close to her people and is happiest when she's relaxing nearby or soaking up all the love she can get.

She's also surprisingly fond of cats and has formed a special friendship with the orange kitty in her foster home. The two even play together, which is pretty adorable to watch.

Like many bulldogs, Rosie is extremely food motivated. She has significant resource guarding around food and toys, including with people. Because of this, Rosie must be fed in her kennel or another secure space where she can eat undisturbed. Her family will need to respect her space during mealtimes and avoid taking food or high-value items away from her.

Rosie also guards toys and food from other dogs, so careful management is essential. She should never share food, treats, or toys with another dog. She would thrive with a family that understands resource guarding and is committed to managing her environment so everyone can be successful.

Outside of these situations, Rosie is a funny, loyal, and affectionate companion. She loves her people, enjoys her toys on her own terms, and has plenty of bulldog personality to keep you smiling every day.

Rosie is looking for an experienced home that understands her needs and is willing to provide the structure and management that help her feel secure. In return, you'll gain a devoted companion who simply wants a comfortable home, a predictable routine, and a family to call her own.

Adoption Fee: $850

Rosie's adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, heartworm, flea and tick prevention, deworming, and a complete veterinary check.
