Bogart - English Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Turlock, California

Bogart is a very handsome bulldog mix who came to us after living on the streets of Oakland. Despite everything he has been through, he is a charming little gentleman with an adorably grumpy face, lots of personality, and the most soulful eyes. We lovingly call him "Sir Bogart Beauregard, Duke of Wrinkle Shire." Bogart loves to cuddle, and give kisses, he gets along great with other dogs, loves all people and loves his crate. Bogart is still working very hard on his potty-training skills and making wonderful progress as he settles into a consistent routine. Car rides are also new to him, so he's learning that they can lead to happy adventures-not just scary changes! With patience, reassurance, and a little practice, we know this sweet boy will continue to blossom.

The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
