He's the definition of a couch companion: happiest when he's soaking up attention, snuggled up beside his favorite people, or enjoying a short game of fetch before deciding that nap time sounds much more appealing.

Like many bulldogs, Gunner comes with some special considerations, and we strongly encourage anyone interested in adopting him to thoroughly research the breed and the unique challenges that can come with bulldog ownership. Gunner was cryptorchid and experiences chronic skin allergies and ear infections that will require regular maintenance to keep his skin, coat, and ears healthy and comfortable. His future family should be prepared to stay on top of his care and work closely with their veterinarian to ensure he stays feeling his best.

Gunner also resource guards his food bowl, so we're recommending a home without small children or other pets. He would thrive in a calm environment where he can relax, soak up all the love, and enjoy being the center of attention.

Despite his medical needs, Gunner doesn't let anything get in the way of being his wonderfully goofy self. He's affectionate, easygoing, and always ready for a cuddle session. He may only have a few rounds of fetch in him before he needs a break, but what Gunner lacks in stamina, he more than makes up for in personality.
