English Bulldog

HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?
Approximately 55 pounds

WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
I am a compact little bulldog with a beautiful black-and-tan coat, big expressive eyes, the cutest squishy face, and I have an adorable little snaggletooth that likes to make an appearance.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?
I eat my kibble twice a day and absolutely LOVE it! I am definitely a foodie and very food motivated.

WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE?
I am an incredibly sweet, loving girl who LOVES people. I am happiest when I am close to my favorite person and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. I listen very well, love attention, and make an amazing little companion.

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY:
My perfect day is pretty simple: hanging out with my favorite person, eating something yummy, taking a quick trip outside, saying hi to everyone, and then getting back to relaxing. I am definitely more couch potato than adventure girl.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY?
I love my chew toys! Give me something good to chew on and I am a happy girl.

DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS?
Yes! I am a great listener. I know sit, stay and come, and I am crate trained. When it is time to go into my crate, I know exactly what to do.

WHAT SCARES YOU?
Really loud or unexpected noises can startle me, and I am not the biggest fan of the vacuum. I can get accustomed to noises once I realize everything is okay.

HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN?
Yes, and I LOVE kids! I enjoy being around them and getting all the love and attention.

DO YOU LIKE CATS?
Not really. Cats are not my thing, so I’d be happiest in a home without them.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS?
I get along very well with other dogs! I really love my person, though, and sometimes I want to be the center of their attention. I can get a little possessive when another dog is getting attention, so I will do best with a family who understands this and can help me share the spotlight.

IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE?
Right next to my favorite person. I love a relaxed, quiet environment, but I am also comfortable in a busy family home. Lots of people around giving me love and attention? I am pretty happy with that too!

HOW IS YOUR HEALTH?
I am doing great thanks to NorCal Bully Breed Rescue!

WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION?
I live with my foster mom, and she is definitely my favorite companion. I love being close to her, following her around the house, and just hanging out wherever she is. I am happiest when I am right by a human’s side.

WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?
I am crate trained and stay in my crate while my foster mom is away.

WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?
I sleep on my bed.

DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?
I can walk on a leash, but let’s just say I am not training for a marathon. I prefer quick walks to do my business and then I am perfectly happy heading back home to relax. I am a bulldog, after all!

DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
I am still working on being completely consistent with potty training. My new family will need to be patient, keep an eye on me, and help me establish my routine.

ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)?
I am a work in progress! I understand going potty outside, but I can still have an occasional accident. Consistency and routine make a big difference for me.

DO YOU LIKE WATER?
I definitely like drinking it! As far as swimming or playing in water, bulldogs are typically not the most buoyant breed, so perhaps we can stick to dry land!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?
I love all the attention and love my foster mom gives me! I love my quick walks, hanging out together, and just being included. It does not take much for me to be happy—I just really love being with my person.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER?
I look forward to meeting you! I will be your best friend and perfect companion. Will you please take me home with you and love me forever?
