About Bunny
Bunny is a young adult mixed-breed boy with the softest heart. While we don’t know much about his life before coming to us, it’s clear he went a long time without the care and understanding he deserved. When Bunny arrived in the shelter environment, he was incredibly uncomfortable—his skin, ears, and eyes were badly inflamed from infection, and he didn’t look or smell like the dog he truly is underneath.
Now that he’s safe and receiving proper medical care, Bunny is finally getting some relief. As he starts to feel better, his true personality is shining through: Bunny is gentle, affectionate, and deeply loving. He just wants to be close—to lean into you, follow you around, and soak up all the attention he’s likely missed out on for far too long.
On walks, Bunny is a dream. He walks nicely on leash, stays calm and non-reactive, and quietly sticks by your side. He’s cuddly, gives little kisses, and has a sweet, sensitive nature that’s impossible not to fall in love with.
Training & Support
Bunny is showing some signs of separation anxiety, which isn’t surprising given his past. He will benefit from positive, reward-based training that focuses on building confidence and helping him learn that he’s safe—even when left alone. Slow departures, consistency, and reassurance will go a long way in helping Bunny feel secure.
Ideal Home
Bunny would do best in a calm, patient home where someone is around more often and can help him slowly gain confidence with alone time. More than anything, Bunny just needs a place to land—a soft spot where he can feel loved and safe.
