Meet Penny
At just 8 months old and 45 pounds, this beautiful Doberman Pinscher is already showing everyone what a loving, smart, and playful girl she is.
Penny was rescued from a San Diego shelter to give her the second chance she deserved. Because of her size, she was at risk of being placed on the euthanasia list, so her rescuer stepped in quickly to bring her to safety. Now Penny is ready to find the right family-one that can give her the time, attention, and love she deserves.
She's doing wonderfully: Penny is potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She walks beautifully on a leash, eats well, and is learning basic cues like "leave it" and "stay." She's also smart enough to use a doggy door!
Penny loves being around people, is good with older children, and enjoys playing with dogs around her size. She's a sweet, bright girl with so much love to give-and she's ready to share it with a family of her own.
