Radio - Doberman Pinscher and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Portland, Oregon

What my friends at OHS say about me:

I am not for the first time dog owner. Someone very familiar with canine body language is a must for me.
Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.

I enjoy living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you.If you're patient with me, I am sure to blossom and become your best pal.I already know how to sit and I walk lovely on leash!I do my best to make it super-duper hard for you to leave every cuddle session.I am a friendly, happy, silly doggy who is sure to make you smile!

The type of home I'm looking for:
I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. I can be picky about my canine companions, so slow introductions and having my own space will be a must for me if I do live with other resident dogs. I should avoid places like dog parks where there are a lot of new dogs at once and little time to get to know them!
It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.

The Doberman Pinscher is a sleek, powerful breed known for its loyalty, intelligence, and protective nature. Developed in Germany in the late 19th century by Louis Dobermann, this breed was initially bred for guard duty but has since become a beloved companion and a skilled working dog in various fields. With a distinctive appearance, including a lean body, cropped ears, and a docked tail, the Doberman Pinscher is an energetic and trainable breed that excels in activities such as obedience, agility, and scent work. Its distinctive appearance, combined with its fearless yet affectionate temperament, makes the Doberman Pinscher a popular choice for experienced dog owners seeking a devoted and versatile companion.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
