Meet Theo, a stunning black and tan pup with a one-of-a-kind white patch shaped just like Minnesota—so yes, he’s basically a local celebrity already.

Theo is a Doberman/Bully mix with all the best qualities of both breeds: smart, driven, affectionate, and full of personality. He’s the kind of dog who wants to learn, engage, and be part of whatever you’re doing. His favorite thing is to curl up on your lap and snuggle.

Right now, Theo is living in a structured foster home with multiple dogs, where he’s learning:

Respectful play and pack manners

Basic commands and house routines

How to settle and relax (even when there’s excitement around him)

He’s got a fun, slightly “wild west” personality—playful, curious, and a little bit of a bronc—but he’s already showing how quickly he learns and adapts with guidance.

Theo is also doing great with his kennel routine—he sleeps through the night in his crate and settles in nicely when his foster family is away at work. He’s learning that downtime is just as important as playtime.

Theo would thrive in a home that:

Is excited to continue his training and structure

Can give him both exercise and purpose (he’s not a couch potato)

Qualified adopters are within the approved adoption area, and Adopter will be requested to visit this foster dog at the foster family home. Our foster families are generally located within a 250 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN.

All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
