Hi, My name is James. I am a big, beautiful boy who is both sweet and playful. I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home, my siblings and with toys. My personality is just starting to shine through and I'm getting curious about the world around me. I'm very grateful to be safe in a foster home, but I'd love to find a forever family to grow up with. If you're lucky, that could be you!

My story... My Mom was fully pregnant & roaming the street, looking for a safe place to give birth. She delivered 13 puppies including me, just 24 hours after I was taken into rescue.

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with 15-20 of our adoptable dogs and puppies there.

Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. It usually takes 1-3 business days for processing. If pre-approved, you have first priority and can usually take home your new best friend the same day!

*Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.*

**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue in Mandeville, LA.
