Meet Onyx – A Driven, High-Energy Doberman Looking for a Trainer with a Plan

Onyx is a 2-year-old red, cropped male Doberman with the energy, focus, and drive of an athlete who needs the right team. He's young, athletic, and looking for a home where he can thrive.

What Onyx Is Like:

• High energy and drive He's got a lot of fuel to burn and a brain that's always working. This is a dog for someone who wants a workout partner, not a couch potato.
• A dog for an experienced owner Onyx is a Doberman with his mind of his own. He needs someone who already understands the breed, is committed to continuing his training and mental stimulation.
• Best with a job – Onyx does best with a job to do. K9 sports, obedience, agility, nose work, or even just daily structured training will keep him happy and engaged.

What Onyx Loves:

• Playing ball in the yard He's obsessed. Toss the ball, and you've got his whole heart.
• Training He's eager to learn, loves the challenge, and works hard for a good reward
• Being with his people When the job is done, Onyx wants to be right there with his humans.

Important, The Right Home:

• No other dogs – Onyx isn't dog-friendly. A single dog household only.
• No cats – As Onyx has shown to have a prey drive, he needs a home without cats and small animals.
• An experienced owner who will commit to ongoing training and mental work.

Why You'll Love Him:

A 2-year-old Doberman in his prime, with a drive that can be channeled into something amazing. Give Onyx an experienced handler and a job to do, and you'll get a loyal, intense, deeply bonded companion who will work with you every step of the way.
