MATE - Doberman Pinscher Dog for Adoption in Dallas, Texas

Mate is a Doberman with suspected von Willebrand disease (vWD), an inherited bleeding disorder commonly seen in this breed that can interfere with normal blood clotting. Confirmatory testing is recommended to determine whether Mate is affected and to help guide future medical and surgical care.

Mate will require additional diagnostic testing and any necessary treatment or management through an adopter’s or rescue’s veterinarian at their own expense, as this level of specialized testing and care is beyond what we can provide at the shelter.

This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
