Finley - Dandie Dinmont Terrier Dog for Adoption in Omaha, Nebraska

Due to a debilitating medical issue, Finley's family needed to surrender him to rescue. Unable to care for their own daily needs, Finley was not receiving the care and love that he was formerly given. His family made the ultimate sacrifice for Finley to live the rest of his years being cared for and pampered.

Finley is 14 years old and lived his entire life with one family. Transition has been a challenge for him but he is gradually showing us his spirit and will to live. He adores food and his orthopedic bed, spending his days surveying the household activities from his "throne". He is a major couch potato who has very few needs other tha than food, soft beds, and routine.

No small kids for this guy as he is too old to be tolerant of youthful exuberance. Leash trained, he needs to be reminded to go outside to potty, or taken out on leash several times a day. Sleeps quietly at night in his kennel.
