Hi, I'm Max!

Hi everyone! My name is Max, and I'm a handsome Dalmatian/Husky mix looking for my forever family! That is our best breed guess anyway. We are not sure.

I'm a happy, playful boy with LOTS of energy, so I'm looking for an active family who loves to get outside, go on long walks, play, and keep me busy. Being a Dalmatian/Husky mix, I have plenty of energy to burn, and I really need a home that understands that exercise and mental stimulation are an important part of keeping me happy.

One thing you should know about me is that I really love other dogs! I'm a little nervous sometimes, and having another friendly, confident dog around helps me feel safe and comfortable. Because of this, I need another dog in my forever home. I promise I'll be a great buddy!

I'm already fully potty trained and crate trained, too! When it's bedtime, though, I prefer to sleep on the ground right next to my person's bed. And I have one very important bedtime requirement: my stuffed animals! I need my stuffies to settle in for the night.

I'm also learning how to walk on a leash, and I'm doing really, really well! I love going on long walks and exploring the world, so I'm excited to keep practicing with my new family.

I can live with cats, too! I might be nervous around them at first and bark because I'm not quite sure what to think, but I warm up quickly once I realize everything is okay.

Oh, and here's another important thing about me: I LOVE car rides! Well... I actually love sleeping through car rides.

I'm looking for a family who will be patient with me, help me build my confidence, give me lots of exercise and playtime, and let me be the goofy, loving boy that I am.
