Meet Daisy! 🌼
Daisy is a 3-year-old, 65-pound Belgian Malinois who breaks every stereotype about her breed. If you’ve been told Mals are nonstop, high-intensity dogs, Daisy is here to prove that’s not always the case. Her foster mom says, “You would never know she’s a Mal!”
Daisy is calm, sweet, and easygoing. Her foster has four dogs (one is a tornado, one is a hurricane, and one is Daisy’s sister, a total momma’s girl), and Daisy is the most mellow of them all. She doesn’t bark much and doesn’t shed much, so she’s an easy, low-key companion around the house.
She’s dog-friendly and loves to play. She can play a little rough with smaller or more timid dogs (her favorite move is pulling off their collars!), so she’d do best with confident, playful canine siblings who can match her energy.
Daisy has a high prey drive, but she lives with multiple cats every day in her foster home, and she’s actually a bit scared of them, so she leaves them alone. She may be able to live with cats in the right home, and a meet-and-greet would help confirm that.
Daisy is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. If you’re looking for a gentle, laid-back girl with the smarts of a Malinois and none of the chaos, Daisy could be your perfect match!
