Her Story
Rae Rae and her best friend Sadie lost everything when their owner passed away. The people who were supposed to care for them abandoned them instead, leaving these two senior girls terrified in one of Atlanta's most overcrowded shelters.

We couldn't leave them there — and now Rae Rae is finally safe.

Who She Is
Rae Rae is a tiny dachshund mix with a soft soul and a heart that loves deeply. She's sweet, gentle, and endlessly affectionate — the kind of dog who melts into your arms and stays there. She's wonderful with both dogs and cats — soft, polite, and happy to share her space.

She is almost blind, but we believe she can still see shapes and shadows. She navigates the house beautifully on her own, occasionally needing a little redirection when she's trying to find her people and looks the wrong way. Her bravery is incredible.
