Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in St. Ignace, Michigan
CHEWY & DEE
Dachshund
🇺🇸
St. Ignace, Michigan
April 22nd
male, medium, senior
DESCRIPTION
Chewy and Dee are two seniors who are in need of a calm, quiet home where they can spend the rest of their days.
Dee is a 17 year old dachshund mix, and Chew is a border collie mix who our veterinarian estimates to be around 12 years old. Dee has hearing loss, and it is questionable how much he is able to see. Chewy's eyes are a little cloudy with age but he doesn't appear to have any vision impairments.
They have been together for at least a decade, and Dee seems to rely on Chewy and will follow him around. These dogs are not adjusting well to the shelter environment, and we are hoping to find them an adoptive or foster home as soon as possible.
Their adoption fees are reduced to only $40 per dog. They are up to date on vaccinations, and Dee is already neutered. Chewy will be neutered on April 28th. For further information, please call the shelter at 906-643-7646.
