Meet Taylor
Taylor is a 4.5-year-old Dachshund mix with a story of resilience and a heart that is just beginning to learn what it means to feel safe. Rescued in March from a hoarding situation involving 67 dogs, Taylor came into rescue undersocialized and extremely fearful of the world around him.

Since then, he has been settling into a loving foster home where he's been given the time, patience, and space he needs to decompress and begin discovering what it means to be a dog. With each passing day, Taylor is slowly learning that the world can be a safe place, that people can be kind, and that life has so much more to offer than what he knew before.

Taylor's journey is a gradual one, and he'll need a family who understands that healing takes time. He may not be the dog who runs up to greet everyone or settles into a new environment overnight, but his progress is worth celebrating, and every little step forward is a big victory.

We're looking for a patient, compassionate home willing to meet Taylor where he is, celebrate his milestones, and let him build trust at his own pace. He deserves a family who sees his potential, respects his fears, and gives him the chance to blossom into the happy, confident little dog he was always meant to be.
