Benny - Dachshund and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Ruskin, Florida

Benny just arrived at our shelter on 8/25/2026. He was as stray and was with another dog (maybe a sibling?) who was hit by a car. So, his start here in our C.A.R.E. has been a bit sad for him. Not to worry, we have volunteers who quickly shared lots of love and attention with him. We also quickly gave him all the updated vaccinations he needed. And THEN he got neutered and micro-chipped on 8/27/2026. We estimate that he is about 2 years old. So, even after all this weeks activity he was smiling and wagging for his picture today, 8/28/2026.

Please plan to come to our shelter to meet this young guy. Our shelter is open to the public Tues-Sat; 10-2:30. When you fall in love with him you can complete an adoption application while you are here. Please note that we do not process same day adoptions.
