Meet Hercules! Hercules was an owner surrender unfortunately his owner was evicted and had 9 dogs and had to surrender a couple of them. Hercules is very committed to his person of choosing. It will take time for this sweet boy to trust, but once he does he is stuck to you like glue. Herc gets scared of strangers so a meet and greet might be a bit rocky, so a dachshund experienced owner with an open mind and willing to meet him where he is would be ideal. Handsome boy is pretty low maintenance and asks only for a kind hand and a soft bed. His gorgeous long red hair will require combing and brushing from time to time to keep matting at bay. Hercules is a kind and gentle soul that just needs a calm environs with low activity to make his world complete! We know we can find that for him!
