Carlos - Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Portland, Oregon

Carlos is a 6-year-old black-and-tan chiweenie. He is roughly 15.5 lbs.

Carlos originally arrived with his father, who is much smaller than him. He would attack him when he was anxious, so we moved him, and he's doing well with the other dogs in his foster home.

He is your typical chiweenie who loves to bark at anyone he likes (people and other dogs). We are looking for a chihuahua-savvy home since he is sassy but sweet with his people. He needs clear boundaries to thrive.

His ideal home:

A home setting with a securely fenced yard since he likes to bark and is still working on potty training. He is ok if you watch him closely and let him out often. Or don't mind training with a belly band.
