DESCRIPTION
Meet Minnie!
This sweet senior dachshund is ready for her happily ever after! After a past life of overbreeding and battling severe anemia, Minnie is finally ready to be someone's spoiled little shadow.
She's great with dogs, cats, kids, and people! She isn't interested in playing with other dogs - she just wants to be wherever her person is. She's crate trained, does well home alone uncrated, and would love to tag along on adventures!
Minnie has ongoing medical needs, including daily medications and monthly veterinary blood checks. She cannot be spayed for medical reasons, but she is up to date on vaccines and will be microchipped soon.
All Minnie wants is a person to love and a cozy place to call home. Could that be you?
ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
