he is a retired breeder and is looking for a patient, understanding family to help her transition into her next chapter.
She is a sweet dog, but she is still learning what it means to be a companion pet. She has not had experience living in a typical home environment, so things like household routines, leash walking, coming when called, and new experiences will take time, patience, and consistency.
Because of this, we are requiring an adult-only home (no children under 15). This is not because she is aggressive she simply has not been exposed to children, and we want to set her up for success in a calm, predictable environment where she can build confidence at her own pace.
A fenced-in yard is strongly recommended. She is still learning the basics, and since she does not yet understand leash walking or recall, a secure outdoor space will help keep her safe while she adjusts to her new routine.
These requirements are not meant to discourage adopters, but to ensure she is placed in the right environment. Our goal is to find her a home where she can feel safe, gain confidence, and receive the time and support she needs to become the wonderful companion we know she can be.
